We are Estonian School

What we do

The Estonian School focuses on Open Government and Citizen Participation. We help to make available and use the large number of European e-Democracy Tools. Together with our students, we develop new digital tools and innovative activation methods, which can be applied immediately.

The Estonian School offers transnational projects, courses, training sessions, summer schools, conferences, innovation boot camps and other events. Our students are policy makers, researchers, professional workers and citizens, from all European countries and beyond.

Our aim

We believe Open Government should be a joint ambition of policy makers, administrators, civil servants, businesses and citizens in Europe. which should lead to more citizen participation, social initiatives and social enterprises. Transparency, accountability, activation, accessibility, inclusiveness, privacy and encryption are the key concepts.
